Rihanna is readying the release of her video for "You Da One," and is teasing fans with what they can expect from the clip for the bouncy Dr. Luke-produced track. In a new video posted by the singer, she's spotted backstage at one of her shows, prepping a look.

"I'm getting a grill made for an upcoming video shoot for 'You Da One,' but I only want the bottom done with fangs, and they have to make a mold so they can send it to New Castle, ship it from New Castle, get it made, and then send it back to London for the video," the singer says in a behind-the-scenes featurette shot at London's O2 Arena and posted on Aceshowbiz.com.

While little else is known about what will happen in the video or why exactly Rihanna will be sporting fangs, in photos posted on Global Grind, she rocks some funky fashions.. Wearing a short blond wig with blunt bangs, Rihanna dons a tight white tank top, denim shorts, bold black tights with the word "Boy" written on them in white and a white bowler hat. The look fits the wardrobe she's been wearing during this album phase, which is very street and punk-inspired.

RiRi's once again set to work with Melina Matsoukas, who shot her "We Found Love" video. At the time of its release, Matsoukas told MTV News that she hoped the two would hookup for another Talk That Talk clip.

"There's definitely some more music coming out, and I'm sure we'll do some more collaborating. I definitely would love to," she said. "I'm excited that I got to do the first one off her new album, the first single. I've never done that, so that was good. ... I think it sets up definitely the imagery for the album, and it's in line with what they're doing. So that's good, and I'm sure there's plenty more, hopefully. ... She called me after, and she loves it, and I love it."   In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Rihanna explained why she wanted to record "You Da One," the second single off Talk That Talk.

"This is one of those records, it becomes very addictive," she said. "To me, it's very infectious: The more you listen to it, the more you want to listen to it. It had a reggae vibe, but it's a sweet little love letter. I love the record. It's kind of dirty. I love it."

Good girl gone bad Rihanna is in hot water with one of London's swankiest hotel.

The 23-year-old pop star reportedly forgot to turn off the water in her ($3,100) £2,000 a night suite at The Savoy in central London, flooding her rooms and leaving the carpets a soggy mess.

The drama unfolded last Sunday night after The Barbadian beauty appeared on ITV1’s X Factor.

A Hotel spokesman remained mum and would only say: 'We are unable to comment on the guests staying in our hotel.'

But hotel insiders were more than willing to speak out.

A source told People: 'The room where Rihanna was with her entourage flooded when the bath taps were left on.'They all left the room and when they came back the carpets were wet through. There was no lasting damage but it took a while to dry out. All of the party were hugely apologetic.

'They were told not to worry. People at the hotel were joking that those in the floor below would need umbrellas – just like Rihanna’s song in 2007,' the source added.

The Savoy is popular with celebrities including Victoria Beckham and Elton John.

Rihanna’s newest single might be called “You Da One,” but it appears there’s no one in the popstar’s life right now — romantically speaking.

“I’m not dating anyone right now,” Rihanna said as she taped an appearance for Monday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“I’m not dating at all,” Rihanna added.

And the Barbados-born beauty said she’s not exactly pleased with her relationship status. “I’m not necessarily happy being single. It’s not really that cool,” she said, adding she just doesn’t have the time to focus on romance.

Rihanna's former Number 1 hit We Found Love bounced its way back to the summit of the singles charts. The song, which features Calvin Harris, climbed one place from Number 2 to deny JLS a sixth Number 1.

The US-Barbadian's song has never been out of the Top 3 since its release and follows her previous Number 1s What's My Name, Only Girl (In The World), Run This Town, Take A Bow and Umbrella.

JLS made the highest new entry this week with Take A Chance On Me, the second single from forthcoming album Jukebox, straight in at Number 2. The boyband, runners-up on X Factor 2008, can now count eight Top 10 singles to their name.There is just one other new entry in this week's Official Singles Top 10 - 20-year-old singer, model, actress and fashion designer Pixie Lott.

24 October 2011 - It’s been a while since Facebook and I were on the same page, but Twitter and I are friends. Twitter is much easier to manage, in my opinion, and as has been said often, there’s only so much drivel one can spout in 140 characters. But what I love most about it is the eavesdropping, especially when you’re ‘following’ celebrity conversations. It’s fascinating stuff.

I used to think celebrities were just like the rest of us, just more famous. Boy, was I wrong. Some of them could as well be from another planet. Always makes me want to do the robot dance and chant, “Take me to your leader”, because it does seem to me that there’s a puppet master on that planet who’s somehow managed to convince this world that his Pinnochios are real little boys and girls.

Take Rihanna for example. Back when she was a human being and not a product of the mass media, things were much simpler. I remember one of her earliest interviews on the Tyra Bank’s Show. She was promoting Pon de Replay, the first song off her debut album Music of the Sun. You could tell that she was very much in awe of Tyra and indeed, the whole set of circumstances, almost like she couldn’t believe any of it. There was even an element of gratitude. Fast forward to the album Good Girl Gone Bad and the celebrity factory had churned out a “rockstar” (her words) who bore little resemblance to the young Bajan beauty who had spoken so demurely on Tyra. Now there was an element of entitlement.

It’s as if Rihanna has a progressive, degenerative disease of the mind. With each album, the good girl has gone from bad to worse. She had to defend herself after the outcry that followed Man Down, a single off the album Loud, which she says was inspired by the evils of sexual abuse. “I’m a rockstar, not a role model,” she said on Twitter, after the video was condemned for glamourising sexual violence and attempting to normalise murder.

Recently, she ran into trouble with a Northern Ireland land owner who objected to her risqué We Found Love video being shot on his property – she was dancing around topless. Once again the “rockstar” took to her Twitter page to explain that love is a powerful drug and that the video was deep and meaningful. Millions of fans responded, agreeing in principle that taking off your clothes, simulating sexual acts and vomiting (all of these scenes in We Found Love) are deep and meaningful. Can’t blame them really.

As I write this, I’ve got my earphones on as Rihanna sings rum, pa, pa, pum to Man Down. I didn’t like it at first, but it grew on me. That’s the insidious nature of this music. The crafty nature of that otherworldly puppet master, who force-feeds us vomit knowing that inevitably, we will come to enjoy it.

From fresh clay, Rihanna has been moulded into a substance abusing, morally challenged, over-stimulated sexual entity. And yet, she is still commanding an audience. Perhaps we’ve all ‘gone bad’ together. Have a thoughtful weekend.

Rihanna Teases 'We Found Love' Video in Behind-the-Scene Footage

Rihanna is gearing up to premiere a music video for her latest single "We Found Love". Although its release date is yet to be announced, the "Cheers (Drink to That)" singer has already teased what to expect from the clip by dropping behind-the-scene footage.

Riri previews the scene she shot in a corn field somewhere in Belfast. It's the one which got her kicked out of the set by the owner of the land for wearing "inappropriate" outfit. Back then, she wore jeans and unbuttoned shirt and vest which revealed her bikini top. She also allegedly went topless.

Regardless the complaint, Riri looks happy and is all smiles in the behind-the-scene video. "This is the perfect treatment for the song," she says. "I'm working with Melina (Matsoukas) again. We have similar stuff, similar taste. We get each other a lot when it comes to creative."

She's seen romping around the field and dancing in the mud with a bunch of extras. "She wanted a bunch of movement, just like being big and expressive," one of her female crew spills the beans on the choreography. "We're gonna see all these crazy movement."

Beside the dancing scene, Riri will also share a romantic scene with her on-screen love interest who is played by 21-year-old boxer Dudley O'Shaughnessy. "By the way I kissed this guy earlier today," she teases. "I met him and I was like, 'Hey let's f**ken kiss.' And now we're about to f**k. Fake f**k. Whatever that means."

"We Found Love" features Calvin Harris and serves as the first single from Riri's upcoming studio album "Talk That Talk" which is due in the U.S. on November 21. Its music video will be "all about love" and shows "the good feeling of it and the dangers of it." She concludes, "Love being like a drug."

Rihanna scores her sixth number one single in the UK this week as the Calvin Harris-assisted We Found Love wrestles the top spot from Sak Noel's Loca People. Rihanna's first number one single in the UK was 2007's Jay Z-assisted Umbrella. Her other chart toppers include Take a Bow, Only Girl (in the World), What's My Name (featuring rapper Drake), and Love the Way You Lie (which was led by Eminem).

The pop singer has been on a high in recent weeks, having created controversy while shooting the video for We Found Love in Northern Ireland. Additionally, she has visited a number of countries with her Loud tour.Stateside, We Found Love continues to heat up the Billboard charts moving from nine to seven on the Hot 100 singles chart.

Rihanna's seventh studio album Talk that Talk is due in November.

American Idol winner breaks records on the US album charts

He's the youngest male solo artiste to debut at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 album chart. Eighteen-year-old season 10 winner of the American Idol series, Scotty McCreery, sold over 197,000 copies of his debut set Clear as Day to take the crown.

He is the first country act to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 with a debut album. McCreery is the first American Idol winner to debut at number one since Ruben Studdard's album Soulful hit the apex in 2003.

Next week we can expect a high debut on the Billboard 200 from Lauren Alaina, the second-place finisher of season 10 of American Idol. Her album Wildflower is expected to debut inside the top 10.

Nando impacts the charts with Get Better

Recording artiste Nando has scored his second Top 10 single with Get Better. Just nine weeks after entering the Reggae Vibes Jamaica Top 20 Reggae Chart, Get Better, an anthem for single moms and all women striving to raise their children without sacrificing their values, has moved to number seven.

Nando is presently putting the final touches to his debut album, Yaad and Abroad, which is slated for release within a few months.

In an interview, Nando said, "We just had a listening session for the album last week that was attended by some top names in the industry and the response was overwhelmingly positive. We are waiting on a remix with a top dancehall deejay to close off the album. Once that's done, we will determine the release date for the album," said Nando.

He further added "Music is my passion and performing for and interacting with the fans are definitely high points of that passion; therefore, I am really eager to shift gears and move from the creative phase to the performance and fan-interaction phase on this leg of my musical journey."

Coldplay Call Rihanna Collabo 'Favorite Bit' On Mylo Xyloto

Last week, Coldplay made headlines when they announced they'd be teaming with Rihanna on "Princess of China," one of 14 tracks on their upcoming Mylo Xyloto album.

And while the news may have left some fans a tad, uh, puzzled, Coldplay say the collaboration was born out of a desire to keep reinventing their sound — not to mention necessity — as they told MTV News this past weekend at the Austin City Limits Festival.

"Well, our new record is sort of a story; it's not quite a musical, but it's dangerously close. There's a bit of a love-story thread, so we really needed someone to sing even higher than me," frontman Chris Martin laughed. "[It's] hard, but very possible. You need to be a female really. For all [drummer] Will [Champion]'s good intentions, he [can't do it] ...

"Can't get that high, not these days," Champion added.

"... So, in like a dream scenario, we had a song that I'd secretly kind of written to see if Rihanna would want to sing it," Martin continued. "And then the rest of the band wanted to keep it, so we came up with the idea of asking her to sing it with us, and, to our great surprise, she said OK."

And as is the case with pretty much everything on Xyloto (due October 25), "Princess of China" finds the band expanding their sonic palette and pushing musical boundaries ... which, they'll have you know, is exactly the point these days. Because, after more than a decade of albums — and sales of more than 50 million worldwide — they feel they've earned the right to try something new.

"Well, her bit on our record is my favorite bit ... when the song came out, it sort of asked for her to be on it. And I think at this point, we have nothing to lose, and so we've been trying some new things and trying to break down the perceived boundaries between different types of music," Martin explained. "Because from where we're sitting, it seems like you can try and sound any way you like nowadays. You don't have to be in a rock box or a hip-hop box or a pop box, and I think it's fun when you embrace that idea."

Rihanna has guested on hits for hip-hop’s biggest stars including Eminem, Jay-Z, and Kanye West, and now the pop starlet is set to rock with Coldplay.

The 23-year-old singer duets with frontman Chris Martin on “Princess of China,” one of the tracks off the band’s new album Mylo Xyloto.

Martin said he was nervous about approaching RiRi for the collaboration. “The album is designed as a whole piece. It has boy and girl lead characters and top of our list for the girl part was Rihanna… but it took a while to pluck up the courage to ask her,” he told The Sun.

Fans of the internationally acclaimed singer Rihanna will be flocking to Paris next month for what is sure to be a raucous concert event.

The R'n'B sensation from Barbados will be performing at the Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy on October 20th and 21st, where she will treat audience members to powerful renditions of some of her biggest worldwide hits.

Rihanna may be known as a fashion maverick, but one thing that is sure not to catch on are offensive necklaces.

According to Hollywood Life, Rihanna was seen dressed down (and without red hair) and wearing a necklace that said “c*nt”, or, as writer Katrina spells out the word, “see you next Tuesday,” which is a much better way of talking about that word.

The article states that the singer wore the necklace for the first time in March. The writer feels that Rihanna should stop wearing things that have bad messages. Katrina writes:

“The star has so much going for her: she’s talented, gorgeous, and fashion-forward–so why wear something so offensive? It’s one thing if you’re dressing up on stage in a costume, but this vulgarity is just disgusting. In a marked departure from up-tempo hit Only Girl (in the World) the sixth single from her Loud album is a slow-paced song about lovers growing apart.

The short film, which was directed by Anthony Mandler in Los Angeles, features the scarlet-haired Bajan beauty lying between the sheets with a shirtless lover.

As she laments the distance between the protagonists lying on the California King Bed, Rihanna - dressed in white shorts and bra - is sexy and dishevelled as she rolls around restlessly.

Donning a floaty night dress, the 23-year-old then laments to a heavenly backdrop of clouds and a Californian sunset as the lover drifts away.

The director changes from colour to a black and white lens during the song's third refrain, before switching back to colour for the final shots of Rihanna lying in a field of grass, the same shot that opens the video.

At the end of February, the pop superstar took to Twitter to poll her fans, asking them to choose her next single, she wrote: 'QUESTION EXISTING: I'm shootin a new vid in a cpl wks, I just need u to tell me, which song should I shoot? California King Bed was announced as the next single just a few days later.

In the images, the pop star has multiple lacerations on her lips, huge bruises on her eyes, around her cheeks and forehead, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Brown was forced to speak out after MediaTakeOut released pictures showing the results of physical abuse he inflicted on the 'Umbrella' hitmaker after a 2009 fight.

Brown was convicted of assaulting his then girlfriend back in 2009. He was sentenced to five years probation, 180 days of community labor and ordered not to contact Rihanna.

The leak of these latest images come just a day after a Los Angeles judge revised a protective order which now allows Brown and Rihanna to communicate.

Tajah explained exactly how she met the anonymous female singer.

"We met through a mutual friend," she told The Hot Hits Live From LA. "And I was like 'hook it up' and he was like 'ok'. And we kind of exchanged information and hit it off."

Tajah told Natalia a little bit more about the details of their relationship.

"We had an instant chemistry," Tajah said. "She basically was just there motivating me and it was really cool and it became intimate."

Pop star Ke$ha has brushed off reports of a feud with Rihanna after the Umbrella hitmaker appeared to make disparaging comments about her pop peers.

Ask The Saturdays - it's no mystery that their management in the single release department is absolutely appalling, as their second single releases from all three of their albums so far have been much more acclaimed, publicly and critically, than the first single.But when you consider re-releasing singles, you need to have some kind of motive because let’s face it - the option to release it in the first place meant it wasn't the greatest demonstration of your single releasing savvy. One obvious reason for re-releasing a song is if you weren't very well known around the single original release, á la HURTS, with 'Wonderful Life', or Florence + the Machine with 'Dog Days Are Over'; another, less heroic reason would be if there’s no more 'good' songs on your album. This results in (because all other 'good' songs are re-released, yet the album hasn’t faired so well as you'd hoped sales-wise) a re-release of the least successful single, in the hope it somehow magically becomes a 'good' single second-time round. There’s no denying Rihanna has star quality.

Whether souped-up bubblegum pop is your thing or not, it’s hard not to be impressed by the Barbadian singer’s dazzling, big-budget live show, which burst into town Tuesday night.

A crowd of about 12,000 mostly high-pitched teenage girls took in Rihanna’s Last Girl On Earth tour at the Saddledome. And seeing as the decibels remained high throughout the 90-minute concert, it seems very few went away disappointed.

Why would they? Rihanna gave them everything they’ve come to expect from a chart-topping superstar — hit singles, sexy dance routines, laser-light show, slick set design and costumes that wouldn’t look out of place in Lady Gaga’s closet.

The 22-year-old appeared quite dramatically — and rather elegantly — on a pedestal which glided forward from the back of the stage. Wearing a flowing black dress covered red lights, Rihanna was greeted with Bieber-like hysteria by her adoring fans.

The din grew even louder when she removed her first outfit to reveal a much skimpier costume for the second song of the night, Hard.Rihanna then straddled a bright pink army tank that matched her dancers’ bright pink machine guns. As far as concert themes and imagery goes, this one was pretty weak and perhaps a tad insulting to those who have actually served in the army.

One lucky fan got the thrill of her young life when RiRi grabbed her out of the crowd, gave her a bat and let her go wild on a beater car that appeared on stage for Shut Up and Drive.

Rihanna’s goth side came out — and by ‘goth side’ I mean she sang alongside dancers dressed as freaky, giant spiders — during the darker dancefloor anthem, Disturbia.

That was but one image flashed Tuesday night at the Saddledome as Barbadian R&B sensation Rihanna sang her opening song, Russian Roulette, on an elevated platform.

It was the first of many dramatic, angry images seen throughout her concert.During the aggressive, electronic R&B of Hard, a troupe of backup dancers sported glowing pink rifles. At the song's conclusion, Rihanna straddled a similarly coloured cannon.

For the pounding pop of Shut Up and Drive, she climbed up on the wreckage of a car while a guy dressed as a crash test dummy breakdanced in the background. For the tune's finale, other dancers took baseball bats to the vehicle.

This was a darker and tougher Rihanna than the pop sexpot in pretty dresses who we've come to know over the years.

The sexy factor was still present, to be sure. During Rude Boy, Rihanna was wore a black S&Mstyle getup that accentuated every curve. The difference is, the 22-year-old's image has taken on a real edge.

Of course, the radical shift has occurred in the last year following Rihanna's violent, highly publicized breakup with her former boyfriend, R&B star Chris Brown. Brown was charged with assault after an altercation between the two on the eve of the 2009 Grammys.

The most striking aspect of "Recovery" is a sense of self-awareness, an honesty Eminem has never before been comfortable enough to offer his audience. In the past, even when he was supposedly putting it all out there for us to see, he delighted in offering contradictions; he was the violent homophobe who loved his daughter and did duets with Elton John. We were asked to try and discern which parts of what he was saying were true, and which were part of the dark fantasy world he created for himself.

"Not Afraid" is a lead single which is for the first time "not" a gimmick, and even goes so far as to acknowledge the failings of "Relapse": "Let's be honest, that last 'Relapse' CD was "ehhhh" / Perhaps I ran them accents into the ground," he raps, and it's easy to nod your head, impressed by his ability to call himself on his failings in such a plainspoken way. Now, to say "Recovery" is a complete turnaround would be disingenuous. This is still Eminem, after all, an artist whose stock and trade has always been in shock, who knows what his audience wants and who will strike at just about any target to provide. Too often his subject matter shifts into self-aggrandizement and teardowns, where he covers up his newfound honesty with boasts and hate. It's as if his newfound honesty simply gets to be too much, and he has to retreat back to his shell for a few songs before revealing a little bit more of himself.

For all of his lyrical failings, particularly when it comes to women, however, he has an ace in the hole on "Recovery": Rihanna. Eminem takes the almost cliched misogyny that has become a staple of his work and turns it into serious business on "Love the Way You Lie," a serious song about domestic violence with an almost ghostly hook from Rihanna herself, whose presence in such a song gives it considerable weight.

Rihanna has confirmed plans to cut a single with British boy band JLS. The Barbadian singer recently spoke with British tabloid the Sun, explaining that the band has everything it takes to make a major impact on U.S. audiences.

According to the report, the group is working with Jay-Z, and the new track will be part of the initial promotional push to bring the group to the international stage. Rumors are swirling that JLS may also head into the studio with Kanye West and Beyoncé. Working with JLS is something that will happen this year," she told the Sun. "Jay will make stars out of them . . . They can sing, they can dance, they look good, actually they look very good."

"America has only had a little taste of them so far, but give it probably as little as 18 months and they could be the most famous band in the world," she added.
